What is Hoppscotch?
Hoppscotch is an open-source API development ecosystem that helps developers create requests faster, saving precious time on development. It allows users to keep track of their requests and responses, and access the history of their requests by clicking on the “History” icon on the side.
The tool has several features, including the ability to copy the response to the clipboard, download the response as a file, view response headers, and view raw and preview HTML, image, JSON, and XML responses. Users can also fix CORS issues, access APIs served in non-HTTPS endpoints, and use their own proxy URL.
Hoppscotch allows users to set environment variables, include timestamps in the request headers, and send a random alphanumeric string in the URL parameters. Users can also add their requests to collections and folders, and export collections to share with their team
